I just got my SCJP study guide and I am extreamly excited ! The book itself looks very intimidating, a big hardback with a CD for “on the go” study. This should be the only material I require to pass the exam.

The 1st thing I did log into Sun’s website and check out the exam objectives.

I have also registered myself on the Javarach.com website which I have heard is the best site to get any sort of java certification related information.

The book I need to start my preperation is – SCJP Sun certifed programmer for Java 6 Study Guide(CX- 310-065) by Katherine Sierra (Author), Bert Bates (Author)

It’s currently available in the UK and the US and can be purchased through amazon.com

I would like to get my hands on the pdf’s of this book so that I could have a look at it before actually going our and purchasing it

There are very few free mock exams available online for this certification but the ones for scjp 1.5 should be good enough I think

This particular moc exam is considered the best and I might go through it just to be extra confident before the actual exam

Hi,

I am Rashmi , a Java programmer who has been procrastinating taking the SCJP certification exam for quite some time now.

I have now, finally decided to take up the latest Sun Certified Java Programmer(SCJP ) 6 CX-310-065 exam and will be recording my journey towards becoming SCJP certified through this blog.
